  • Liz Kamp

    FOUNDER / COACH / TRAINER

    Our owner, coach and Certified Personal Trainer. Liz got hooked on indoor cycling in her high school days. She loves the fact you can push yourself mentally and physically in the studio. You’ll hear a variety of music depending on the time of day – more rock in the morning and more current pop hits as the day goes on. Liz wants you to leave class feeling invigorated and recharged.

    OPS MANAGER / COACH

    Rachel will solve any problem with a smile and will always make sure she takes you from A to Z. Like our owner, Rachel is from Rochester, NY so she gets extra points for being able to drive in the snow! Rachel is also a cycling coach who takes the stage on Tuesday mornings and Thursday nights now. She loves to push you while jamming to throwback hits and more.

    COACH

    Bernadette moved to NOVA in middle school and has lived here off and on ever since. She started cycling indoors over 10 years ago. She enjoyed the philosophy and activity so much that she decided to become an instructor. Bernadette loves music and enjoys a variety of genres. She’s always looking for new ways to make the class interesting, challenging, and fun.

  • Susan

    COACH / TRAINER

    Susan is an indoor cycling coach and also a Certified Personal Trainer. She has been an avid outdoor cyclist for decades. She loves training for triathlons and has turned to indoor cycling for her workouts over the past 10 years. Susan loves a variety of music but leans toward the 70s-90s. She wants her riders to leave feeling energized and like they can conquer any challenge.

  • Kimberly

    COACH / YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Kimberly is a certified Schwinn cycling coach and a certified Power Yoga RYT 200 and Yoga Sculpt instructor. She loves to tap into her DJ roots and use various music genres to relax or energize you, depending on the class format. Kimberly strives to help you to achieve your fitness goals, whether they consist of increasing your distance and speed on your bike and/or improving your flexibility and muscle tone on your mat.

    COACH / TRAINER

    Steph brings over 10 years of experience coaching Spinning® and Schwinn rides at various gyms and most recently, her own studio in California. Her coaching style leans strongly on the mind-body connection and she loves to dig into the lyrics of every playlist for motivation. Steph is also a NASM certified trainer and group exercise instructor.

    COACH

    Kim is a New Trail rider turned Certified Indoor Cycling Instructor with Schwinn. It only took a few rides before Kim was hooked on indoor cycling. She’s turned her love of music and community into a drive to be a great coach. She’s always on the hunt for the next great playlist so you can count on great tracks new and old when you attend her classes.

    COACH

    Science-loving ballroom dancer Jessi is a New Trail rider-turned strength coach. A strong believer in form over speed, Jessi will keep the energy high while you challenge your muscles. Jessi discovered her passion for group fitness in college and you’ll be sure to see her in many New Trail classes!

  • Brian

    COACH / TRAINER

    Brian has had a lifelong interest in health and wellness. His passion for running and cycling really began after moving to Northern Virginia in 2001 and discovering all the amazing bike trails that the area has to offer. He has been a member of the New Trail community since 2019 and has really enjoyed the camaraderie of the group fitness classes and the physical and mental health benefits of keeping up a consistent fitness routine. Brian is excited to begin working as a coach and trainer to help others either begin or continue their fitness journey!

    COACH

    Shannon is a certified Schwinn Cycling Coach. She has been enjoying indoor cycling for 20 years and has been a New Trail rider for 4 years. She loves the connection of moving the body to amazing music. Shannon's playlist will keep you on your toes with a variety of styles and she loves a good theme ride!

    COACH

    Joanie is a Stages & ICG certified cycling coach. She fell in love with indoor cycling several years ago and has been coaching since 2019. In addition to a cycling coach, she is also a NASM certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach.

    In Joanie’s classes, she curates unique playlists, allowing the class to ride to the rhythm. The more engaged riders are with the music, the more fun they can have while getting in a great workout.

  • Rachel

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Rachel is a lifelong yoga student and practitioner, and certified RYT 200 Yoga teacher. After spending a decade in the hot yoga community, she shifted to the Vinyasa style and continues to adapt to the physical and energetic body and embrace all 8 limbs of yoga. Rachel invites you to tune in and flow using sound and breathwork.

    OFF-SITE YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Karen has been practicing yoga for more than 25 years and has recently taken the next step and started teaching what she loves. She is trained in vinyasa flow and her favorite sequence is sun salutations. Teaching yoga makes her happy! She also loves hiking, camping, cycling, swimming and playing with dogs.

    COACH

    Kyla is a certified Schwinn Cycling Coach, who discovered her love for health and wellness in college. She started teaching Cycling classes at William & Mary's Campus Recreation in her freshman year, making it an impact on her college experience. You can expect lots of pop music and encouragement to challenge yourself throughout her classes.

    PILATES + AQUA AEROBICS INSTRUCTOR

    Lisa has been certified in multiple modalities teaching aerobics on land and in water, pilates, kickboxing, horseback riding and more! Her goal with clients is to share knowledge about the body and exercise and to encourage lifelong movement.

  • Julita

    COACH / TRAINER

    Julita is a Schwinn Silver Level coach as well as a personal trainer. Her goal as a coach and trainer is to help people achieve a better quality of life through movement. She started her fitness journey as a young athlete and turned passion into a profession more than 7 years ago. Julita is pre/postnatal certified and is passionate about coaching women of all ages on and off the bike. If you don't see her in the studio she is most likely riding cross-country trails outside or rolling around with her toddler.

    STUDIO COORDINATOR

    Analise first learned about New Trail while coaching with Liz and through Emilia, another Studio Coordinator. She is a senior at Herndon High School and captain of the varsity lacrosse team. Analiese is excited to be part of such a fun team and to see all the new and returning members!

    Ekta is a Reston local who works full-time buried in data but joined our team to share her love of fitness. She discovered the power of movement during the pandemic and loves helping others reap the rewards of working out. She’s the smiling face behind the desk several days a week!
